Four Young Adults Killed After Allegedly
Intoxicated Illegal Immigrant Crashes Head-On

(Fox News) — An illegal alien is charged with killing four people after allegedly driving while intoxicated the wrong way on a highway before striking another vehicle, Oklahoma authorities said Tuesday.

Michael Rosario-Cruz, 27, was released from a hospital and booked into the Canadian County Jail on a slew of charges, including four counts of second-degree murder, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury, transporting an open container, firearm possession, carrying firearms while under the influence and driving the wrong way on a one-way road.

Rosario-Cruz was driving early Friday westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Canadian County, when he struck another vehicle head-on, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

All four people in the struck vehicle, which caught fire, were killed. They ranged in age from 18 to 20, authorities said. The victims were identified as Kiercey Hickson, 20, Quincy Jones, 19, and Haliegh Salazar and Brad Palmer, both 18.

"Driving impaired is a reckless, life-changing decision," the Highway Patrol said in a social media post announcing the charges. "The loss of these young lives will have a lasting impact on countless family members, friends, and communities."

Cotton Over Chemicals: How Trump’s USDA
Is Making America’s Fabric Great Again

(Just the News) — On Thursday, USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins announced The Great American Cotton Plan, an effort to help revitalize the nation's cotton-producing industry to move Americans back toward wearing natural fibers as opposed to plastic materials and other pontially toxic fibers.

Launched as a cornerstone of the plan to restore domestic textile manufacturing, the “Plant Not Plastic” initiative urges American consumers to choose products made with natural, U.S.-grown cotton over petroleum-based synthetics like polyester.

Working in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the campaign highlights cotton’s superior breathability, biodegradability, and reduced microplastic shedding – addressing growing concerns about synthetic fibers releasing thousands of plastic particles annually into the environment and potentially into our bodies.

By elevating demand for American cotton through education, procurement incentives, and alignment with the bipartisan Buying American Cotton Act, the initiative simultaneously boosts rural economies, restores domestic textile manufacturing, and advances the Trump administration’s MAHA goals of practical, preventive wellness through everyday choices.

Wisconsin GOP Wants Investigation Into
Green Bay Double Absentee Ballot Issue

(Center Square) — The Republican Party of Wisconsin wants the Wisconsin Election Commission to conduct an investigation into how 152 duplicate absentee ballots were mailed out by the city of Green Bay before the April election.

The clerk has stated that no duplicate ballots were returned or counted, so is no need for an investigation, claiming that the law prohibits multiple voting but does not say anything about the multiple issuance of ballots.

The party, however, believes that the issuance of the duplicate ballots was illegal. The investigation request was filed on behalf of Theresa Sipes against City Clerk Celestine Jeffreys in her official capacity.

“The city of Green Bay clerk is attempting to absolve herself of her legal duty in her reply to the original complaint by suggesting no investigations should follow this serious procedural error that enabled over 150 voters to be illegally mailed duplicate absentee ballots,” Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Brian Schimming said in a statement. “Laws exist to protect election integrity, and when they are violated, an investigation is warranted to prevent future breaches, ensure accountability, and maintain public confidence that election laws are applied consistently by every official.”

Dhillon Wants Judge Who Allegedly Attended
A Fani Willis Event Off Georgia Election Integrity Case

(Just the News) — Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon filed a memorandum Friday calling for a federal judge to recuse herself from an election integrity case in Georgia after allegedly attending an event that allegedly honored Democratic Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Dhillon, in the memorandum, says the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council, the primary governing and administrative body for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, operating out of Atlanta, found an unnamed judge "committed judicial misconduct by attending a "partisan and political event."

She also says in the memorandum the event "reportedly" honored Willis – who investigated the 2020 presidential election in Georgia that resulted in indictments against President Donald Trump and 18 alleged co-conspirators.

Willis was disqualified from the case for professional and personal misconduct, which was followed by a judge in 2025 dismissing all of the charges.

Dhillon, an assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, also writes in the memorandum that the unnamed judge is being publicly identified as U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross.

Federal Jury Convicts Spokane ICE Protesters
As Questions Remain About Local Charges

Spokane, WASHINGTON (Center Square) — The federal verdict is in, but the local fallout from Spokane’s June 2025 protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement is still playing out, with another trial set for August 10.

A jury panel convicted Justice Forral, Jac Archer and Bajun Mavalwallla II on Thursday of conspiracy to impede or injure federal agents, nearly a year after protests at an ICE facility led to dozens of arrests.

The three defendants were among nine protesters indicted by the Trump administration a month after the protest last year. The other six people have already pleaded guilty in exchange for deals that could reduce their felony charges to lesser misdemeanors if they comply with certain court-ordered conditions.

Chaos ensued last June after hundreds of people gathered around an ICE facility in response to a call to action from former Spokane City Council President Ben Stuckart, who later accepted the plea deal.

To Skip Israel Parade, Vows 'Safety' And 'Security'

(Just the News) — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is promising that the city will provide a record level of security for Sunday's annual Israel parade. Mamdani, however, won't be attending the parade in protest of Israel.

At a press briefing, Mamdani and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the city would take steps to ensure safety at the parade, even though Mamdani won't be attending, The Times of Israel reported.

Tisch cited a rise in antisemitism in the U.S., Canada and Europe and said the city would "not mess around with security" at the parade.

Mamdani will be the first mayor of New York City to not attend the parade in decades. In previous years, tens of thousands have marched in the parade, led by the political leadership of the state and city.

Tisch, who is Jewish, said she'd be "honored" to walk with other dignitaries in the parade.

Woman Killed By Flying Restaurant Umbrella In Freak Accident At South Carolina Lakeside Restaurant

(Fox News) — A freak accident involving a restaurant umbrella in a small South Carolina lake town led to a woman's death over the weekend, according to local authorities.

Dana Weinger, 56, was enjoying a night out at Driftwood Grill Home of the Lazy Gator at Lake Marion in Summerton, South Carolina, with her husband and other family members Saturday night when a gust of wind dislodged an umbrella, turning it into a projectile.

The umbrella struck Weinger in the neck, severing her carotid artery, Clarendon County Sheriff Tim Baxley told WIS 10.

Local EMS workers responded to the scene, where Weinger was found unresponsive. She died at the scene.

Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell described the accident in an interview with KTVB. "This is not an everyday occurrence," Blackwell reportedly said. "This is just one of those tragic things that happen."

 Muslim Activists Warn Over Mamdani’s
‘Islamist Politics’ Ahead Of Protest

(Fox News) — Mayor Zohran Mamdani is facing a Muslim problem with local Muslim activists planning to spill into the streets Tuesday night outside Gracie Mansion, where protesters will accuse the mayor of promoting what they describe as an extreme form of Islamism.

Meanwhile, Mamdani, New York City’s first Muslim mayor, is also facing criticism from hardline anti-Israel activists who argue he has not gone far enough in support of Palestinian activism after taking office.

Anila Ali, president of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council, said she plans to join Tuesday night’s protest because she believes Mamdani’s politics are alienating moderate Muslims and damaging relations between Muslim and Jewish communities in New York.

"With Mamdani in office, we feel our religion is now hijacked once again and is being used by these Islamists," Ali told Fox News Digital in a video interview.

Interior Chief Hits Pope Leo For 'Editorializing' AI

(News Max) — Interior Secretary Doug Burgum on Tuesday brushed aside Pope Leo XIV's first encyclical and warning about artificial intelligence, telling Fox Business that "tech editorializing" was not part of the papal role, a sharp response to a document the Vatican released Monday calling for vigilance over a technology now central to the Trump administration's energy and economic agenda.

Burgum, the 55th Interior Secretary, made the comments on "Mornings with Maria" after host Maria Bartiromo asked why the Pope was "commenting about AI right now."

"Well, I didn’t know that tech editorializing was part of the role of being Pope," he said.

His full reply pivoted from the encyclical to electricity policy, faulting states he said had pursued "intermittent, unreliable, weather-dependent sources of electricity" and calling for a return to baseload power to support continued buildout.

"We’ve got to get back to baseload power to make this whole thing work, but the future is very bright if we can make sure we can get this stuff built," he said.
